It's sloppy because it's only been 4-5 days since I started playing without a pick. The AxeFX preset is Squid's that I've tweaked so much, I need to get the original one again because this is nothing like it anymore. I made it a little brighter for this so it'd pop out of the mix a little more. The walls were still shaking in my house though! I haven't had this much fun playing an instrument since I fell in love with drums back in high school. Not sure how I never cared about bass before, but the sheer balls of the instrument is addicting.

Well, it’s only going to make you a better musician! Playing with my fingers has really shown me how much more aware of playing on or behind the beat I have to be and I know that’ll translate to every other instrument eventually.

You'll have to download the cabs in that link as well. I posted screenshots of the cab blocks so you can see where to load them in. Like I said above, this was initially Squid's preset that I've tweaked to hell and back. I really don't know what it sounds like in comparison to the original one as it's been a few months and 3 basses later. The original probably sounded better!

As soon as I got home from work today I was right back in my studio pounding away on the thing!

I have it, but haven't tried it yet. I'll do it tonight or tomorrow though and see what I get.
