Well, I'm as happy as a pig in shit!
This thing is a beast! Ebony fingerboard, roasted maple neck, EMG's, Spector Tone Pump Jr, swamp ash body. I could tell it was going to solve my bass issues the second I plugged it in. I'm still tweaking my bass presets, but here's a little clip going over clean (I'm doing my hack version of Ryan Martini's tapping technique in the first bit) then it's a modified version of Squid's AxeFX bass preset, then a clip of a cover of Anthrax' "Inside Out" my buddies and I are working on. (Bass could be louder TBH, but I did it quick).

And pics!

I can't find a flaw on this thing. The frets are perfect and the *only* thing I could possibly think someone would gripe about is the ebony board isn't black and the grain isn't nearlty as tight as the ebony I've seen on more expensive instruments. You can barely see the grain on my JEM, only if you look closely. The Spector ebony looks like really tight-grained and smooth rosewood. It's still comfortably as ebony, especially after I oiled it up, but definitely not the same as the stuff you used to see. This is made in China, but man, it's really well done.
