  • FS: Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic 7s

Not digging these in the KxK.

Only been in the guitar a few months, good cosmetic condition. They've been drilled out for direct mount. I paid like $400 CAD after shipping, I dunno, make me an offer. I'll include 25k pots, wiring harness, etc.

For trades I'd consider some F spaced higher output pickups. Have to be non covered because my pickup routes are routed to within a cunt hair of SD pickups.

I will give you $3000 if you toss in the KXK that they are currently attached to.

If theses were 6 strings I'd be considering it. But, already have Open Cores in my H7 Pro. Bummed you don't dig 'em, I love mine.
Don't expect much, it's not like I'm a Rocket Surgeon...

Love the moderns, unfortunately the classics do nothing for me. I've been told to try the Keith Merrow set, but that uses the classic neck so if it pairs with these then I don't really want to run the risk, considering its $400 Canadian ruples or so to get a set. Rather spend that on some BKPs or something.

Yeah, they are retardley expensive. I've been toying with swapping the EMGs in my Arrow-1000 for some, and if you could grab a set for the same price as used EMGs would just jump in, but the price tag makes me hesitant to gamble on 'em.

The Merrow set is pretty damn awesome. Lots of pick attack clarity and just enough extra oomph.

I'd drop the money in a heartbeat for some open core moderns if they made them, but won't risk the cash for another set.

I can't believe how wrong you are on these, but hopefully someone will get a great deal on amazing pickups.

It's not just me, Coop currently has the guitar and he said he doesn't dig them in the KxK either. He had Classics (not the open core version, but still) in his Solar and they sounded decent in that. My KxK is like 80% maple, with Rob's wide ass neck blanks for his neck through guitars, and a maple top, so could be related to that.

I even e-mailed Fishman asking if there were any plans to release open core moderns and they said no. They suggested the Javier Reyes set (someone else suggested the Keith Merrow set) but I'm not risking the $350-400. I would instantly buy a set of Moderns if they fit but alas, that's not happening, so I'll probably get a set of Warpigs since they sound great in the BSG.

That's weird. The Classic Open Cores in 6-string sound amazing in everything I've heard them in, and I've got a set on order. It's disappointing they're that off for ya. Maple could really be killing it though. I've mostly heard them in mahogany or limba.

Come on folks, got a set of Warpigs on the way so need to pay off a chunk of that because they were more expensive than I remember

I'd love to put these in the S7521 I just got, but buying that put me in a hole. Unless you're dumb enough to trade for a set of Ibanez Quantums... yeah, didn't think so.

These are finally out of the guitar, replaced with Warpigs.

                            Someone buy these.
