Oh. Editing titles is time-limited!
I was just gonna add that this is about the new BC Rich Ironbirds in solid colours without all that garish mother of toilet seat.
"Brain started working enough again to enter a sensible explanation in the title bar."👍 1 -

Try as I might, I can't find a complete pic of the Ironbird in green, I'd been googling for hours when that partial shot finally came up, which goes some way toward explaining my dumb initial title.
Sadly, the numpties have still not ditched the MOTS binding, the above green is a lower-tier model. :picard:
I first found it in this orange, went :yum: and then saw that they were also making it in green:cybersex:
Reeeeeeeeeally, I also want a reverse headstock, and I am a neck pickup soloist, but I'm still biting my tongue on that one...
The best-looking pricier model I found is this, but I dunno:

Sir that's the Beast headstock, this is the Widow
The best BCR headstock is the reverse lobster claw though.Comment

Errk! Oops!
Zero Thanks for the correction, man! Ideally, I'd like the headstock to mirror the back end of the Warlock shape more, the Widow looks like a pair of dangling plums (translation: ballbag) to me. :picard: Could you post an example of the "reverse lobster claw", please? I'm rapidly learning that BCR presents an extreme challenge for my GoogleFu...Comment

The overall design of the Ironbird flows in a common direction. I think the regular angled headstock looks perfect, in my opinion. A reversed headstock would just ruin the flow.👍 1Comment

This one.
Don't know if it has a real name, but I always think of it as being the big part of a lobster's claw. I don't think any models use it currently, but it's still a CS option and it was in more use back in the 80s.
And yes, I always thought that the Widow headstock looked like balls so that's why I didn't like it either.Comment

Maple board would be just fine with me. BCR diamond inlays (in matching green, of course) would be the icing. Look, they can do it:
Still can't find any pictures of the real thing, I did spot this, and am wondering if they're doing it to torment me into buying a CS:
:mad3:
Get that recycled bog seat off there!👍 1Comment
