seen an advert for sale for a 98' Jackson AT-X however i cant seem to find any information on that model. Wondering if it's a reasonable price or not as well. any information would be gratefully received.

Build quality is high, but the pickups and trem are budget-level. This price seems high, but I don't know UK pricing levels very well. In the USA, this guitar would sell for $350-400, most likely.

Seems like a reasonable U.S. price estimate, though I don't think this model was ever sold in the US.

That's about normal for a non JS Jackson here
