    - hybrid hardware

Made a quick a/b/c clip since all 3 of my Core PRS have the 85/15's in them.

Hell yeah man that one is gorgeous.

EDIT: My SE has the same pickups and I think I might keep them in there. They are really nice.

Every time I look down it's like "nice."

25% of the electric guitars in my house have mahogany necks. How did I end up here?

What year is this one? The Custom 24s I saw in the shop yesterday had toggles, which I did not like. I’m pretty sure both the SEs and Cores had those.

2017. I want to say 2010ish the blades were introduced on custom 22 and 24?

They were toggles for individual coil tapping, which I personally found a bit too fiddly.

The pickup screws are also two-tone to match. Nuts.

Yeah the hybrid gold hardware is a nice touch for sure. I own 3 core USA's (what?!) and none of them are "regular" for their model.

                                Edit: hybrid strap pins, goddamn

Gorgeous. Love the finish, fretboard (ebony and inlays), and back of the neck. Just a beautiful-looking guitar. While I've personally never gotten along with the feel of PRSs, I've always loved how they look, so it'd be great if I could find out with the right kind of mojo. Then again, maybe PRSs just aren't for me, no matter how much I love their looks.

Trade you a UV and a Drew Peterson 8x10 Glossy for it. Comes with a free shovel and bag of lime!

Damn, I don't know how this is the first time I'm seeing this but that is fucking SWEET!

I'm now looking for new, black saddles for mine because I love the two-tone look. I gotta find out what size bridge this is. Apparently there's some differences between the CORE's and SE's....or there was at some point?

I wasn't sold on these pickups at first, but I'm getting used to them. I LOVE how they sound with the coils split. Definitely versatile pickups, that's for sure. I thought they were a bit vanilla the first couple of days but as I started going through different amps I started noticing things about them I really dig. Though mine would look cool with some black nickel covered pickups.....

                                            Congrats! Sure is purdy.

For those who have experience with both, which is better, a PRS or comparable EBMM?

I've played a bunch of nice PRSs and while I prefer EBMMs (I own 5), it's not really apples to apples. I don't particularly like the feel of PRSs, and think they look a bit too adult contemporary for me.

To me its "do you like wider or narrower fretboards?" As the ebmm's i've played are all narrow and thus not for me. Both are high build quality.

EBMMs are mostly bolt-on ugly superstrats. PRSs tend to be neckthrough/setneck ugly Adult Contemporary Missionary Position Old People Guitars.
