  • New Guitar staging area

Finally getting settled into our rental unit, and decided it was time to unpack the ladies.

    From left to right:

In the case, a Gallagher Acoustic (inherited this from my Grandfather when he passed. Hand-made in 1976, valued at close to $4K)
    LTD Deluxe EC-1000 (Red burst w/EMG 81/85)
    Fender Telecaster (Brown burst) MIM
LTD Deluxe H-1001 (Black burst w/ SD Sentient/Pegasus)
LTD Deluxe EC-1000 (Cherry Sunburst w/ SD 59/JB)
Fender Player Strat MIM (LP Blue w/ David Gilmour EMG set)
LTD Deluxe EC-1000 (Violet Shadow w/ EMG 81/60)

Ran out of room in that location, so eventually I will expand beyond

Yep, I learned that a few years ago. Most of my guitars were purchased used (minus the new Fender Strat and the new LTD Deluxe Violet) so I didn't really care much for an extra ding or scratch. These aren't case queens

I will get one from Thomann. Or maybe a cheap one used. I have the Hercules 45B (I think) for having the isolated but as a Bulk anything goes really

In retrospect, I should have done that. I didn't intend on buying two new guitars in the last 2 months Hence I got the single one to the right for the guitar I am actively recording with, but now if I end up buying another, I am gonna have to buy a 3 rack. Which is more than another 5 rack

I bought a super cheap 5 fiddle holder on amazon for 23$ (Kuyal Iron Guitar Stand) works fine tho I would not use it with nitro finished guitars. (I have 2 of them now)

I still have one of these from back when I kept most of my guitars at our rehearsal space. Works great and folds up nicely so you can use it at home, at rehearsal, side-stage at a gig, etc.

Would you prefer many individual stands that tumble around in the bus and on stage, or a single, compact solution? The Rockstand offers an inexpensive alternative with space for 5 guitars - in a sturdy black Tolex case with velvet lining.  Compact, convenient and simply looks b...

No matter how many slots you get you always end up running out anyway

True story. I was down to 6, but then I got my Camcaster, so the bass went to the floor, then I got another bass, and now I'm getting another bass
