Is the neck carve different? As for the volume knob, thats a pretty standard location it seems to me, not even as close as a Stratand I love the old style numbered knobs for their lower prohile...but then they put a damn blade switch? I guess if they didnt it would basically just be the model they made a while back.

I guess my biggest question is, why?
I wonder if Fender is just trying to get some more attention towards Charvel so they moved him over there?
“Well Jim, we know you want a Floyd and we’re thinking that our Charvel line could do some good with your name attached. If we do a Floyd model, are you ok with it saying Charvel on the headstock?” I’m sure the same dudes are making his guitar for him regardless.
