These are made in Aksa, Japan, by a larger company called Deviser. Deviser also makes Bacchus and Momose branded electrics, and Headway acoustic guitars. This is a semi-hollow, but it is hollow behind the bridge as well, so instead of two hollow sides it has a single U shaped hollow bit. These don't show up in the US too often, but the quality is very high. Pickups have been changed to a 'Peter Green' set from Onamac Windery, which really only affects the sound when both pickups are on together. I may swap them out for something else, but I only play it on the neck pickup so it isn't an issue right now.
It's about the same size as a Les Paul, and it has a neck like a '58 Gibson. It might actually be a bigger neck than my Baja Tele
Super easy to play, very light, and a perfect little jazz guitar. All mahogany body with a maple center block, one piece mahogany neck, and bound and blocked ebony board.
