No, she did not buy this for me. But she did let me get it before selling the Huber (for sale!).

2019 PRS McCarty SC594 LTD semi-hollow in McCarty Sunburst - but randomly with a brazilian rosewood fretboard. This was a dealer order from our version of GC at a store out west. The braz board wasnt requested, it just showed up. I think nearly every braz PRS I've seen listed in Canada has had "for USA only" on the back of the headstock . It has the documentation in the case.

Overall it's what you expect from the 594 line, basically a les paul killer. I guestimate it to be around 7.5lbs, need a scale eventually . It came with dead 11-something EB's and high action. I put.10-52s on but will probably go 10-46 like my MC594. Haven't done a truss tweak in a while and now it plays much better. I made an a/b post between my 594's which I'll get posted later.

I damn well better be done for a while, 2021 has been a guitar safari and a half!

Lucky you, I'm still in "oh that thing? I've had that for years" and "oh I just traded another one with somebody for this" mode.

Since it's a flat top, the edge digs into my arm enough for me to be a bit uncomfortable. And when your most expensive guitar is a bit uncomfortable, you sell it . Incredible build quality and tone though. Makes me sad that the Dolphin II models are serious $$ this side of the Atlantic.

What's your stable like these days? Judging by your NGD's, you seemed to have really stepped up on the corksniffery! (Not a criticism, btw)

I do that, too sometimes it just isn't worth the argument.

                                Gorgeous guitar!

I totally understand. I can't play metal on anything without a forearm cut. I have a dirt-cheap Pacifica 102S that gets loads of playtime because hardtail/string through body is also awesome, but anything chuggy on that gets uncomfortable really fast.

My flat top tele bothered me at first but now I dont notice it really. The gloss finish bugs me more than the lack of contours.

My tele has rounded edges. It also doesnt get a ton of play time (it didn't come out perfectly and im not 100% sure what to do about that).
