When Google first offered Google Voice Translation for voicemails a buddy of mine called and said "Hey Mike, call me when I'm off after 6" weeelllll... Google Voice then translated it and sent me a text saying "Hey Mike, call me when you get off when you're having sex." Oh, he got a call back alright...

And if you're wondering how Google Translate made such a huge mistake... then welcome to the world of Google Translate: making huge mistakes non-stop since 2006. But, although the way Ibanez is pronounced in Japanese is different both from how it's pronounced in Spanish and how it's pronounced in English, just looking at how it's pronounced in Spanish can give a clue as to how Google could make this mistake. In Spanish, it's pronounced like "Ee-bah-nays." In English, it's typically pronounced like "Ai-buh-nez." In Japanese it's kind of like a hybrid of the Spanish and English as "Ai-bah-neez."

I always pronounced it "ih-buh-nez" but I guess I am wrong

The entire Swedish Amazon site is machine translated. There's a lot of things involving rapeseed that did not turn out exactly right, also male hens did not fare well. Men's trunks became trunks of cars etc.
