  • Done it again, nsblpcd

As expected a silverburst lpc came up at a non stratospheric price (thanks Simon...) so I couldn't resist as it might never happen again.

This one has a richlite board which actually feels great regardless of what the purists would tell you...

Same here. I really wanted one of those starting about 22 years ago (partially inspired by Adam Jones), though my desire for one has decreased over time, but I'd still love one. So in my case, the "we are so old" thing would be the opposite since I wanted one of these more in my teens and early 20s than I do now (got my first Gibson Les Paul when I was 19, I think, though it was ebony and not silverburst, and had been using an Epiphone Les Paul before that, which was cherryburst).

                    That silverburst is really nice.

                        Translation: I was prematurely old.

                        Enjoy!

Yeah bit of a unicorn guitar for me as they always seem to either be beyond fucked or 8k+ or a combination of both

I have settled with the fact I will never own a Gibson Silverburst custom. So I guess I have to stick with the Epiphone Silverburst Custom

You don't tell me how to live my life.

Hilariously it's a ii mk 1 which I got a few months after they first came out.

My esp horizon still has the plastic on the cavity covers and I bought it in 2005

I'm not sure I ever did take the screen film off my AFX Standard. Somehow, I got around to it on my AFX2, though.

Very nice! I still covet for a silverburst LPC myself.

Funny story: I remembered my first ever pub gig when there was a nu metal band that played before us. One of the guitarists who looked like Gold Dust from WWE still had the film on his pickups. It was hilarious to me that he spent time tarting up his image but not bothering to peel the film. He also happen to "accidentally" bumped into my drummer's bass drum during pack up. And by accidentally, I mean my drummer rammed into him.

Well I'm in shock, one showed up in Western Canada for $3500. I'm wondering why it's the cheapest LPC on kijiji .

A lot ofvpeople hate silverburst (because a lot of people have no taste). Also if its recent it might have a richlite board which purists will turn their noses up at. Also daft because richlite feels and looks great.

it's 2013, expecting richlite. 8.4lbs, looks pretty clean in photos - got a forum buddy looking into it. Possible second flip this year if it works out .

                                                  Mine is a 2014 and it's a lot heavier than 8.4lb.

                                                  I like the weight though.
