Same, honestly. By the time an album comes out I've heard most of it, and it really saps a lot of the excitement of that first listen.

This will be the last one I check out until the album comes. Like those above me, I still love that new album day when I can sit down and experience it all at once.

That said, this song fucking ripped and has been my favorite of the singles so far. Love that chorus and the layering. I just wish in the last 30 seconds they would have came back in for a walloping instead of letting it fade out.

Not all songs should be singles, and songs that aren't good as singles sometimes aren't bad songs on the album, depending on whether or not the album is a 'long form' type of piece, or if it's just a collection of songs. In which case, the latter, the song might just suck

Man... I fucking HATE trailers. I avoid them at all costs. And fuck the ones they shove in your face once you've actually sat in the theater, sweet baby jesus, it's like you're being subjected to 8 mini-movies, where they roll through the plot, and sometimes just straight-up show you the fucking monster.

The real monster? Hollywood marketing.
