Baaaahahahahahahhaha....because it had distorted guitars and electronic shit? Come on....
As for the stolen demo thing, that's not entirely untrue. They started working with Ross Robinson for their first album, Concrete. I can't remember all the details, but I think the gist was that the band didn't like the sound of the demo and didn't want to release it. There was a lawsuit and Robsinon won rights to the album, while the band retained rights to the songs, basically allowing Robinson to use it as his business card, which is supposedly how he got the Korn gig. Then Dino bitched about Korn stealing his riff, it's the main riff of Korn's "Blind", supposedly ripped from Fear Factory's "Scapegoat". Last time Dino was on Jasta's podcast, if I remember right, he blew it off as "Well, there's million riffs that sound the same", but he was fairly bent out about it in 2015.

It's certainly similar, but worth bitching about? I dunno. The Karmic Law is not kismet. It is not fate but cause and effect. It is a taskmaster to the unwise; a servant to the wise.
