It's like the happy sunshine version of Amorphis - can see myself listening to this when i am in the hammock in the garden, reading a good book.

It sounds about as I'd expect, being a fan of his playing. Weird just how little gain he's using, though.

Haha yeah, that's an apt description. Curious to see what the rest of the album sounds like, and how varied it'll be.

There's a new tune out, which has the singer from Leprous on it:

Interesting. Kind of an '80s New Wave undercurrent going on with both tracks.

That guy does love his falsetto, doesn't he.

I like some Leprous tunes, but can't really listen to them for long because of the singer. While he's a really good singer technically, I just find something about his singing annoying. One thing is the over the top use of falsetto, and especially the sort of breaking into falsetto for a split second when singing normally (hard to explain, what he does at 45-46 seconds into the song) all the time.

Otherwise it's a pretty cool tune - and the chorus is really cool melodically.
