I love Carcass! Necroticism will always be one of my top favorites of all time. It was a huge influence on me still to this day. Heartwork, too.

I really liked Surgical Steel and finally got to see them live in Worcester, Mass at the Palladium with Suffocation and Behemoth almost 15 years ago. They were awesome.

Definitely like what I’m hearing from them as of late. I still miss Ken Owen being in the band though.

Seems like their comeback is somehow separate from media/ hype etc, they just make cool songs in their style and people share them around just for that reason.
Sounds more musical than the average extreme metal and I love it
