I really have no clue what to expect. It’s been so long since those dudes have written together and who knows whose pile of riffs this song came from; if it was something Slash had kicking around or something Axl has been working on for 20 years. I definitely don’t expect another Appetite or Illusions. You figure, as much time has passed as the time between AJFA and St. Anger….maybe longer, I’m too lazy for math right now. And shit, Slash barely had much to do with Illusions as Axl was really taking control by that point.

I wouldn’t mind if they got back into that Illusions vibe, I dug those albums and they’ve aged ok, aside from the occasional social aspects of some of the content. Hell, my favorite GnR tunes are on those albums, namely “Estranged”, which is easily my favorite GnR tune.

Everyone knows but refuses to admit that Gunners only had one great album with Izzy being the strongest songwriter. The difference in songwriting quality is like night amd day.

Just finished listening, I never was fun of GnR but I liked some songs. This one however I didn't like it at all, sounds really boring and rushed, I didnt like Iron Maidens new song either but lots of people do like it. Maybe something wrong with my taste..
