Some Bruce Dickinson + Orchestra goodness

For Jon Lord’s Concerto for Group and Orchestra:

And an older one from the related stuff, blowing Glenn Hughes off the stage.

Aweomse recoridng, especcially the Deut with Glenn Hughes. It is also a perfect example, while Glenn is an awesome vocalist, how Bruce just DOMINATES everything once he starts singing. Glenn's voice is an additional instrument in the mix. Bruce's voice is always on top above all, the one things that stands out the most and all the attention is focused on.

I'd have to disagree about "blowing Glenn Hughes off the stage," that guy can out sing everyone even at 69 years old.
I just saw him twice in the past month and he blew my mind every time.

Bruce does sound amazing when he comes in but doesn't have quite the high-end like Glenn for the song but his mids punch!

As gorgeous as that whole video sounds it sure is a mess of a mix for a live Band/Orchestra if I have ever heard one.
Can barely hear anyone with the exception of Bruce.

After hearing this again it would be amazing to hear Iron Maiden have an orchestra like that with them live.
Bruce's voice is very fitting for an Orchestra.

Side note, this is the best version of Burn:

Doug Aldrich is the King and featuring the OG singer, David Coverdale.

Glenn's high end is screechy as it's always been. Bruce's voice is pure power. To me, IMO, that's blowing someone off the stage. There's a reason why nobody cares about 95% of Hughes' catalog.

Glenn Hughes is like Sammy Hagar. They can sing the phone book. Also, Glenn and Bruce are friends, and do not care who is "better". They were there to pay tribute to a friend who had passed away.

            Non-sense!
He just need his mic turned up.

Bruce is the man, there's no doubt. I love that guy.
I always wanted to hear him in a slightly more technical metal band like Dream Theater or Symphony X just to see what he could do.
