IRON MAIDEN's BRUCE DICKINSON Mocked For Complaining About Impact Of Brexit On Music Industry Despite Voting For It

IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson has called on the U.K. government to get its act together to help artists tour the European Union post-Brexit.

As a result of the Brexit agreement, performing artists of all kinds must now have work permits to earn money from gigs in EU countries, and have a "carnet" that allows the transport of goods such as musical instruments across borders. Individual visas and work permits are required for different countries, and U.K. touring vehicles are limited to only three stops in Europe before having to return home. This amounts to extra costs roughly amounting to £5,000 per individual country."

    WTF was Bruce really expecting???

I love this guy but when I saw that "speech" he did years ago on Pro Brexit I said to myself: You are going to eat those words in the future... well... Reality is a fucking Bitch isn't it Bruce? Now deal with the choices...

The most idiotic thign about Brexit is that those who gained most from the UK's EU membership were the ones most likely to vote Brexit - could have been smart for people like Dickinson to think through what they're doing.

This Twitter comment was pretty funny:

God preserve us. Sounds like he wants the UK and European countries to set up some kind of agreement, to allow free movement of people, good and services, almost as though we might make a Union of European countries, and create a Single Market within it.

100% absolutely the same. When i saw it back then, i was surprised to hear such undreflected and short-sighted comments form him - as Bruce is usually seems to be someone with a strategical and analytical mindset. I love Bruce, but it was clear that this was going to bite him in the ass.

Lots of people regretting voting to leave, I read a article where family lived in France and they were UK nationals. They voted to leave and now after Brexit, they have to come back to UK as they no longer can live there. Woman was in tears saying she didn’t think it would come to this….

There was an other Brexit supporter who was complaining about long queue in airport, because he had to use non EU exit which normally is busier and takes longer to get through because of checks…

I wonder what did they think would happen by leaving EU?

It messed up ordering from Thoman too…. I think it will get worse down the line.

One of the funniest things was this Twitter thread last year which is a blow by blow of an English couple forced to move back from France due to Brexit. The story is described by their French neighbor (this is all in English tho) and is almost too much to be believed. Entertaining none the less.

I'd laugh, but I have to live with the consequences of these massive bellends actions, quite frankly they can all go eat a dick.

I talk with an english woman that lives and works in France for the past 11 years and she was totally against Brexit (Like any sane person was), Yesterday I posted this article on the FB page and she came in and had basically same reaction as me, then she just told me this about her English neighbors:

              - tell me about it. Sat in their English style barn conversion with a range rover in the drive and full pensions, taking all the benefits then choosing to not allow their grandchildren to be able to do the same. Rock on getting French citizenship and becoming European again....

How Hypocrite can anyone be right? Especially people from a place that spread all over the World and grab what they could

Also have at least two english work colleagues that as soon as they saw Brexit they went to ask for their Italian ancestry Double Nationality of becoming "French"
