Not Don's best performance but he had so may health issues he gets a free pass. George sounds great however, though his leads are his usual gloriously sloppy self.

It's really weird seeing him play a Les Paul on stage, that is for sure.

I thought the leads sounded pretty good. The mic is cutting out a lot of the low notes so it sounds a little choppier than it probably did live. Things like the bends and vibrato are pretty much dead on, which is impressive considering how wide he bends.

The main "Les Paul" he plays is a 58' or 59' copy by ESP but it says "George" on the headstock in a Gibson font.

That one is tough. I just got back from Nashville and this store I went into said he was there a couple of weeks ago with Richie Faulkner. I wonder if he snagged that old LP while he was there?
