I've probably seen every version of this duet on the tube and loved every single one of them. That long harmonised sustained note hold gets me every time.

This also must be the most boring song to play on the set as a bassist.

I mean, don't get me wrong, it's awesome. But holy crap

Man... I hate that I found this out threw an article a week or two before the show.
Because to be surprised like that would have been monumental.

Steve has said in a interview that "Black Star" is his favorite song by Yngwie and in like his Top 10 Instrumental songs. So to see him to play it live with Yngwie was un-real.

Either this moment or Zakk Wylde & Nuno's duo of "Sideways" was the best part of the night.

I tell you though, anytime they were all jamming together on-stage, Yngwie blew every single one of them out of the water when it came to their solo takes.
Kind of like how John Petrucci did in G3: Live in Tokyo when him, Satch and Vai jammed.
