He’s not wrong about One Hot Minute and Dave Navarro being RHCP’s best guitar player. I know Frusciante fans would piss their pants and puke if I said that in front of them but that album came out shortly after I started playing guitar and Dave Navarro looked so cool back in the 90’s to 12 year old me. It was actually the solo in that song, “My Friends” that made me think he was cool, there wasn’t much else for guitar solos on MTV at the time. “Warped” is a pretty cool tune, too. I remember they played those two songs live on MTV and Navarro played a Parker Fly for “My Friends”, hearing the piezo totally tripped me out,

Truth. I'm not a big RHCP fan but I think Navarro is super underrated and I love Jane's Addiction. Dude can play his ass off.

Plus, the bassline on Aeroplane is my favorite of any RHCP song. So groovy and catchy.

I said it in the comments and will say it again here - you need to have Louise sing on a song of yours. Her clean vocals with a killer death metal singer would make a great dynamic.

Funny/embarrassing- Back when I was in 7th grade, I thought Navarro, Wylde and Vai all looked badass wearing leather pants and no shit. I was dead set on that being my stage clothes....except I was always a chunky fucker. My best friend still busts my balls, asking me when I’m going to buy a pair of leather pants and stop wearing a shirt....which would be funnier now than it would have been back then. I also pierced my nipple on my first day out of high school, intending to have both done because I thought it looked cool. After the chick slipped with the pliers she was using to hold the ring in place, twisting my freshly pierced nipple in a 180, I decided not to go along with getting the right one done. I still had fatty bitch tits and the only thing that fucking nipple ring brought me was titty twisters from my friends and one perfectly placed elbow the day after I pierced it at a Pantera concert.....that was fucking brutal. Man, I’ve done some stupid shit.
