She never left. Evanescence was always her baby. She fired the original members of the band, slowly, then rebuilt for version 2.0 in the early 2010's. Then fired some of those guys, and this current iteration has been around for 2-3 years. Amy Lee has always been the Front Woman
Rapidly approachingterritory for me but I always liked her voice.

I actually just read about this recently, there was some mixup with the sheet music handed to the orchestra and what key the band actually played in. Not really any band members fault....especially when he’s playing a Floyd Rose.
The moment the band jumped in is when everything fell apart. The guitar and bass were out one semitone. A good musician can recover from that, Floyd Rose or not. They can just transpose by ear and salvage the performance, especially since the song is mostly simple power chords. But they kept in the same register and staying out of tune. Sure the guitar and bass parts won't be "right" per se, but it's sure as hell better than playing out of tune, especially with a full orchestra.
There's a lot of speculation that the guitar tech got the tuning wrong or the band sabotaged Amy Lee into a terrible performance. Either way it's inexcusable and completely unprofessional.Last edited by Bloody_Inferno; 05-10-2021, 04:44 PM.

I enjoyed this record, and the last two. The one with "Call Me When You're Sober" was, well, not good.
