These are from Costa Rica.

Before the wall came down, East German chocolate bananas were apparently really made of pickled cucumbers with boatloads of sugar covered in a fat/cocoa/sugar mixture. I've never tried that, my only pre-reunification visit was to Frankfurt am Main in summer '89. :pickle:
