Well I'm sure as fuck not clicking the stupid ass thumbnail in the first video. Second one sounds cool though.

Sounds OK. Some of the demos sound pretty awful though 😕 it's based on the excellent vh4 pedal, which I had and sold when I got my kemper. I'm on the lookout for a small, low volume practice amp for home. I may end up getting one of these for those days when my kemper is all packed away in its rack case, but tight now I have a few big things to pay out for.

This clip sounds good, it's recorded more in the room, and unboosted.

I'm not excited by any of these new micro heads. They sound like what they are, pedals with built in power amps. Most of the diezel demos have sounded like shit so far. I thought the same about the friedman one. Good to have as a backup solution maybe but for similar money you could buy a helix stomp which shits all over these in every possible way other than having a built in power amp.

I think the reason the diezel head is getting the hype treatment at the moment is because, especially, in the US, Diezels rare and expensive. This is no more a diezel than the amptweaker pedals are 5150s

Another dumb toy cash grab. Can't wait for the next distortion pedal glued to a cheap Chinese power amp in a shell. I've got my laptop power supply ready!

Wouldn't surprise me if this sort of shit made more money than their real products. Especiallyfor Diezel.

Pete Thorn's transition from session shredder to Youtube Cliche straight up makes me not want to own things he demos.

Remember when the Hot New Trend in Amps was mini tube amps?

I miss those days, but even then my Mark V sounds best in 90 watt mode so that's where I leave it. It's just bigger.

Are these things actually selling successfully? They seem like a joke. Still though, more companies will get in on them if they’re selling. Both this and the Friedman model sound terrible IMO from the demos I’ve heard.

From what I understand they are doing really well. I can see the appeal as a fun little gift. But anyone who says they are a legit option for gigging with is smoking crack.

Right? You can't even plug 4 guitarists at once into this thing.

I dont take them as gig back-ups or recording solutions, just a fun little novelty you can keep on your desk to fart around with or just a neat toy for a guitarist "hey look I have a Friedman" for fun. There still is a very large market of people who have 0 concern about "the gig" and wouldn't know if it sounded like shit or was the second comeing of the tOaHn God, they just want a toy.

Truth. I haven't given a shit about "the gig" since I was in college and actually played gigs. And back then I didn't give a fuck about perfect tone, I just had an amp loud enough to rip it with and that was all I needed.

Very true and nothing wrong with that.

My issue with these is they sound like shit and cost the same as my other things that sound far better and are far more useful. I just don't see the point in them?

Seriously, between that hair toss right at the start and the "small asshole" tightle of the video...

I'm only halfway through, but I've yet to hear what I'd like to...
