I really want a Sabra Cadabra, what are your thoughts on that pedal?

I was given a Fuzzdog kit for a sabbra clone, it’s ok but nothing special.

I have one, and it truly is Iommi in a pedal. Every single time that I think about selling it, one of my friends comes over who is a Sabbath fan, and they check it out. I've thought about selling it for a couple of years, but I still have it. It's an amazing pedal. Sabbath in a box.

Just looked up some demos and welp, shouldn't have done that.

I can't stand fuzz pedals. This pedal sounds unreal fuzzy in every demo. It's like someone strung 3 or 4 metal zones together and ran them into a Crate amp.

Same. When I want to rip out some Sabbath, I just crank my gain

It depends on your settings. They allow you settings for different albums/songs. The sounds are spot on.

A cool fuzz pedal is a thing of beauty and a shitload of fun to play through. Do you listen to much doom and/or old Sabbath? If not I doubt they'd be your thing.

I strongly prefer Sabbath after Dio joined, so nah not really.

Yeah I figured your tastes were more modern. To each their own.

Fuzz is most useful for punching in a lead sound through a clean amp. A fuzz-face circuit (mild fuzz, compared to most) into a Fender Super Reverb is pretty much amazing... for what it is

I like the tones other people get with fuzz pedals, but I don't really get along with them myself. I love Sabbath, Sleep, Kyuss, etc, but when I'm going for those tones, I just use a Rat with the gain cranked.

The only good fuzz pedal is a broken one.

I have a Sabra Cadabra and love it, although it is a tricky beast to integrate into a pedal-chain / board, as even completely turned down, that treble boost really boosts the ever living shit out of your treblezzzzzzzzzz.

Still, the Les Paul into the Sabra Cadabra into the old Orange....dear Lord Iommi, it still impresses me every time.
