Visited Bigdave last weekend, besides the kickass grub and good times, he sent me off with one of his oversized 2x12 cabs to borrow, with v30s from a Steve Vai legacy 4x12. Wow this cab really brings the amp to life. I had it dialed in on the green channel with the stock shetfield and a plumes overdrive, but never used the red channel. Since I got this oversized 2x12 with v-30s its like night and day. Red channel is way more friendly and I can go higher gain. Now I have the internal speaker unplugged and just going into the v30 2x12, but down the road I may put v-30 in the cab itself and see how that sounds.
