anyone know anything about this unit? it's on MF stupid deal today for about half price.

preface- i really want a big sky or an rv500, but can't justify either price wise for my basement noodling.

This unit seems to have similar features with the shimmer settings but i've never heard of it.


I currently have an oceans 11 and it's a total piece of trebblely machine fake sounding shit, and an awesome tailsman plate which kicks ass as a plate but does nothing else.

Yikes, that just screams cheap to me.

Go used and get something like this. You may not like the aesthetics of it, but I've got one, and it's fantastic. There are certainly others that do this with different looks.

Get a blue sky? Alexander pedals has some cool stuff in their neo line too. Or nunaber.

blue sky doesn't have the cloud or midi settings. i'm thinking rv500 is a good compromise at around 250 used on reverb.

The RV-500 is fantastic, for sure.
