It sounds absolutely awful to my ear with everything maxed, but the new "Custom" mode does sound a lot more clear and punchy.

This seems...okay. I get that this is great if you just want to dime everything and build a church (just to burn it down) out of all the wood that you've buzz sawed with your tone but honestly I think I prefer that the boutique market has largely moved passed straight clones and actually offered some improvements.

I'm no chainsaw expert, but from the clones I've tried, having a clean blend and 3 band EQ makes this thing a lot more flexible in terms context. Granted...using in any other context really isn't the point with these.
